How to Steam

Note:
You can use
the cooking
timer
function for
this mode.

Brown mode

The "Brown" mode is used for Browning Meats, onions, garlic, seasonings and more.

Fill the bottom of the inner pot with enough water for
steaming. (Usually 3 Cups but this can vary due to quantity
of food to be steamed)

Place the steaming rack on the inner pot and add all the
ingredients to be steamed, e.g. Potatoes, Vegetables, Fish,
Chicken, Hot Dogs etc.

Plug the power cord into the power outlet.

Press the "Menu" button until the triangular indicator on the
LCD display points to the Steam mode

Press the "Start" button.

When finished you will hear a beep lasting about 10 seconds
and the "Keep Warm" function will automatically begin to
keep contents from over cooking.

When completely finished, press the "Off" button and unplug
the power cord.

Connect the power cord into the power outlet.

Press the "Menu" button until the triangular indicator on the
LCD display points to the Brown cooking mode.

Add the meat to be Browned. (No additional fat or Oil is required)

Press the "Start" button.

When finished Browning your meat, the CHEF N GO will
beep for 10 seconds, it will then stop the "Brown" cooking
mode. Add all additional ingredients to the meat, then press
the "Menu" button to select the next desired cooking function
such as Regular, Quick, Soup, etc. then press the "Start"
button to continue cooking your meal.

When completely finished, press the "Off" button and
unplug the power cord.
