In order to avoid injury, fire and health
hazards:

Secure the work piece. Use clamping
devices / a vice to hold the work piece.
It is then held more securely than with your hand.

Wear protective goggles!
There is a danger of injury from
splintering materials flying into your
eyes etc.

Wear a dust mask! During pro-
longed working with wood and par-
ticularly if materials are processed
which produce dusts that are hazardous to the
health.

Do not soak materials or areas which
are to be worked on with solvent-con-
taining liquids. Shaving of the materials may
produce harmful / toxic vapours.

Material containing asbestos must not
be processed with this device. Asbestos
is a known carcinogen.

Under no circumstances should you
prop up your hands next to or in front
of the device or the area to be worked
on. There is a danger of injury from the very
sharp attachment tools.

Always route the cable towards the back away
from the device.
½
In cases of danger remove the plug from the
socket immediately.

During assembly and the final check
of the blade you should wear ap-
propriate protective gloves.
The selection of the correct carving blade depends
on the specific application. The carving blades sup-
plied are suitable for the most common applications
(see Figures B - D).
Release the cap nut

Remove the blade if necessary. Insert another
blade into the tool holder
