Registering a Recipient in the Phonebook

You can register the recipient of a fax message in the Phonebook.

Registering Recipient Information

In the Printing Preferences dialog box, click the [Phone Book] in the
FAX tab.
The Phonebook dialog box appears.

Click the [Personal].
The [Personal Information] dialog box appears.

Enter the appropriate information in the "Name", "Fax Number", "Com-
pany", and "Department" text boxes. You can enter titles in the "Name"
text box.
– It is not necessary to change the settings for the "ECM", "Interna-
tional Transmission Mode", and "V.34 Mode" check boxes. For de-
tails, refer to the User's Guide [Facsimile Operations].
– Up to 40 characters can be entered in the "Name", "Company", and
"Department" text boxes.
