    Description This software package contains an updated release of software for the HP 3800 switches. For the latest version of these release notes and HP 3800 switch user guides, visit the HP Networking manuals web page: www.hp.com/networking/support 1. Secure Mode allows ■ the transition between standard secure mode and enhanced secure mode for several security functions. Standard secure mode is the existing, default security mode on the switch. Enhanced secure mode provides an additional level of switch security.
