Thank you, for purchasing this Proline chest freezer, To ensure that you get
the best results from your new appliance, please take time to read through
this simple instruction booklet.
Please ensure that all packaging materials are disposed of in accordance with
the current environmental requirements.
Safety information
This information is provided in the interest of your safety. Please read the
following carefully before carrying out the installation or use of the appliance.
If you are discarding an old freezer or refrigerator with a lock/catch fitted to the
door, ensure that it is left in a safe condition to prevent the entrapment of
children.
As old refrigerator equipment may contain CFC's which may damage the
ozone layer.
When disposing of any refrigerating equipment please contact your local
waste disposal department for advice on safe disposal.

INSTALLATION

Position the appliance and allow to stand for two or three hours (ten hours in
Summer) before it is turned on for the first time to allow the system to settle.
Do not position next to any heat source e.g. cooker, boiler or in direct sunlight
etc.
The freezer should be installed on a good firm level surface and providing
adequate air circulation at the sides and rear of the cabinet, a clearance of
10cm must be left between the rear of the appliance and any adjacent
cabinets or walls to allow for adequate air circulation. The appliance is not
designed for a recessed installation ("building in").
Any floor unevenness should be corrected at the time of installation.
The freezer should be connected to a 230 volts 50 cycle A/C supply by means
of a three pin socket, suitably earthed.
