Please ensure that all packaging materials are disposed of in accordance with the current environmental requirements.

    ELECTRICAL CONNECTION Warning this appliance must be earthed. This appliance operates from a 13 amp 3 pin plug. The voltage rating is 230 volts AC and should be protected by a 13 amp fuse either in the plug or distribution board. The appliance is supplied with a moulded 13 amp 3 pin mains plug fitted with a 13 amp fuse.

    BEFORE USING THE FREEZER This information is provided in the interest of your safety. Before operating the appliance, please read the following instructions carefully, as they cover the basic information for safety of installation, operation and maintenance. Before plugging in your freezer for the first time it is recommended that you remove all packing, clean both the inside and outside surfaces.

    TEMPERATURE CONTROL The thermostat maintains a constant temperature in a chosen position. A normal temperature of - 18 C is obtained by turning the thermostat control knob to number 3. However, it should be noted that if the fast freeze switch is in the on position, the compressor will not stop running until the switch is returned to the off position.
  • Page 6 Avoid placing unfrozen food in contact with food previously frozen. Do not overload the freezer with fresh produce. The maximum amount of fresh produce that can be frozen in 24 hours is 4 kilograms. Frozen food should be used in rotation and therefore packages should be carefully labelled.

    Reconnect the freezer to the power supply and allow to run for 30 minutes before reloading with produce. The outside of the freezer can be cleaned in this way too, At least once a year a thorough cleaning routine is recommended in order to maintain a good standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Page 8 Do’s and don’ts Do- Clean and defrost your appliance regularly (See “Defrosting”) Do- Take off any unusable leaves on vegetables and wipe off any soil. Do- Leave lettuce, cabbage, parsley and cauliflower on the stem. Do- Wrap raw meat and poultry loosely in polythene or aluminium foil. This prevents drying.
