Upgrades to your locomotive

Command Control Upgrade

T his upgrade is made using kit 6-22960,
which includes a radio circuit board.
Begin by removing the die-cast locomotive
cab as described on page 9. Now, place the
locomotive on its left side. Locate the jumper
block (see illustration).
This is a tight fit in a small space but remember this

operation will only have to be done one time.
The final step is to remove the 104E unit
board, just pull straight up and off the con-
nector pins. Store the circuit board safely
away for possible later use.

remove the jumper block by pulling it toward
the front of the engine. You will now be able
to see three connector pins. Reinstall the
jumper block on the two pins furthest from
you.

ly press into place on the connector pins. You
are now ready to enjoy TrainMaster com-
mand control operation. See page 17 for pro-
gramming and operating instructions.
