  • Page 3 Sawmill operates best at 10-14 volts (AC). As illustrated in Figure 1, you may connect the accessory to a separate power supply or to a Lionel Lockon (available separately, 6-62900) connected to your track. You will need the ends of the wires to be stripped back 1/4” to 3/8”.

    Wiring and operating your Sawmill with TrainMaster Command Control or operation in the TrainMaster Command Control environment, you may choose to wire your accessory with an SC-2 Switch and Accessory Controller (available separately, 6-22980) or the Accessory Switch Controller (available separately, 6-14182). Refer to these manuals for additional information.

    Wiring and operating your Sawmill with TrainMaster Command Control (continued) Accessory Switch Controller wiring and operation Three wires (not included) are needed to connect your Sawmill to the Accessory Switch Controller (ASC) and a separate accessory transformer. Refer to Figure 6. 1.
  • Page 8 Adjusting the Sawmill n the event that your Sawmill fails to operate correctly, follow these steps to align the belts inside the accessory. To protect the accessory’s electronics, power to the motor will be turned off in the Note! event that the belt becomes jammed. The lights will be unaffected. To restore normal operation, turn off power to the accessory for one minute, correct the jam, and then restore power.

    Sawmill is illuminated by two LEDs (light emitting diodes). The LEDs are expected to last for the life of the unit and are not user serviceable. Only an authorized Lionel Service Center should service this accessory, if it ever becomes necessary.

    Lionel L.L.C. or an authorized Lionel L.L.C.
