Possible Cause
Solution

Install battery properly (P.14-4).
If On, PIN1 is required. Enter
PIN1 according to onscreen
prompt.
Cancel Keypad Lock (P.1-9).
Cancel Password Lock (P.11-2).
Handset failed to recognize
USIM Card temporarily. This is
not a malfunction.
Turn power off and check that
USIM Card is properly inserted,
then restart handset.
If the message still appears,
USIM may be damaged.
Make sure the correct USIM
Card is inserted. The inserted
USIM Card may not be valid.
Clean relevant parts with a dry
cloth and re-insert.

Use within an ambient
temperature of 5oC - 35oC.
Activate Show Secret Data
(P.11-3).
Unless handset becomes very
hot to the touch, these should
be considered normal;
regardless, avoid prolonged
skin contact which could cause
burn injuries.
Use 920SH-formatted Memory
Cards.
Return to Standby and try
again.
Cancel Keypad Lock/Password
Lock.
Wait until update is complete.
