Electrical connection

This installation should be
performed by an experienced and
qualified technician, in accordance
with local codes and regulations.
This machine is supplied with a
connection cable without a plug for
connection to a suitable connection
socket or isolator switch.

Before installation, make sure
that the voltage and frequency listed
on the data plate correspond with
the site's electrical supply.
Connection to the electricity supply
must only be carried out by a suitably
qualified and competent person.
Connection should be made via a
suitable connection socket or isolator
which complies with local and national
safety regulations and which is easily
accessible for disconnecting the
machine from the electrical supply.
Provision must be made on site to
switch off all poles. Switches with a
minimum all-pole contact gap greater
than 3 mm are suitable for isolating the
machine. These include circuit
breakers, fuses and relays.

If the machine is disconnected
from the electricity supply ensure
adequate measures are taken to
ensure that the machine cannot be
reconnected to the electricity supply
until all work has been carried out.
Should the connection cable require
replacing or changes be necessary in
the electrical installation including
checking and/or replacing the fuse
please make sure this is done by an
approved electrician to ensure
compliance with all local and national
electrical safety requirements.
For extra safety, it is advisable to
protect the machine with a suitable
residual current device (RCD) with a
trip current of 30 mA.

This machine must be
connected to a permanent electricity
supply so that the door can always
be opened. For this reason it must
not be connected to devices such
as timers which would switch it off
automatically.
