You connect the power supply and the switching elements by wiring these to the front
connector.

Auxiliary voltage for encoders and digital outputs (L+, M)
The 24 V DC auxiliary voltage of the encoders and digital outputs is monitored:
● for wire-break of the 24 V feed line
● for power failure
The 24 V DC auxiliary supply is converted internally to 5.2 V DC. This supplies 24 V DC and
5 V DC at the encoder interface (sub D socket X2) to the various types of encoders.
