<Cause>
• BJ cartridge not detected.
• BJ cartridge not installed.
• BJ cartridge combination wrong.
<Suspected parts>
• Check that the contact section is free of foreign matter.
• Check that, for printing, the BJ cartridge, and for
scanning, the scanner cartridge is installed (mis-
installed error occurs).
• Check if the cartridge is locked securely with the lever.
• Check the carriage ribbon cable for folds or other
damage.
• Check if the carriage ribbon cable is attached correctly.
