Overview

The XDJ-1000 Professional Disc Library is a Professional
Disc auto-change system equipped with a Professional
Disc Drive unit and disc storage slots in bins.
It provides an efficient means to read and write data to and
from multiple Professional Discs, optimizing the handling
of recorded material and the handling of archived/media
data.
The library operations are performed using a built-in web
application running within a web browser.

Features

Compact, space-saving all-in-one
configuration
The library has a width of 424 mm (16
mounting in a standard 19-inch rack, and is equipped with
one Professional Disc Drive unit and two disc storage bins.
Each bin can store up to 15 discs for a total capacity of 30
Professional Discs.
The library can be expanded to include two drives by
installing an optional XDBK-J102 Professional Disc Drive
unit. This enables an increase in operation speed and disc
drive redundancy.
HDD cache built-in
The library uses built-in 500 GB HDDs as cache memory.
Data transferred from an external server or other source is
temporarily stored in HDD cache to optimize the speed of
data transfers.
It is equipped with two HDDs in RAID 1
configuration to ensure reliability.
1) RAID 1 (Redundant Arrays of Inexpensive Disks 1): An exact copy of a
set of data is written to two or more disks to increase reliability.
Supports redundant power supply units
An optional XDBK-101 power supply can be installed to
provide redundant power supply functionality. This
function ensures continuous operation even if one of the
power supplies fails for systems that require high
reliability.
Supports media management using RFID
tags
The library supports operations on media using RFID
(Radio Frequency Identification) tags. The library is
equipped with an RFID tag reader/writer for Professional
Discs. By attaching RFID tags to Professional Discs, the

library can read/write disc titles, lists of recorded files, and
other information on tags for improved operating
efficiency. In addition, an option RFID tag reader/writer

RFID tags to bins, media can also be managed at the bin
level.
