Emergency ejection of a CD
If a CD does not eject after pressing the CD-ROM drive Eject button, follow this procedure to force it
to eject.

Emergency ejection of a CD
1. Switch off power to the CD-ROM drive.
2. Find a paper clip or similar object that will fit into the emergency eject access hole.
3. Gently push the tip of the paper clip into the emergency eject access hole until the CD-ROM
drive's tray slides out.
4. Remove the CD and gently push the CD tray back into the CD-ROM drive.
5. Restore power to the CD-ROM drive.
