Press and hold down
ABS button 1.
The ABS warning light goes
out.
When the ABS warning light
goes out, release the ABS
button within five seconds.
The ABS warning light re-
mains off.
The ABS function is activ-
ated.
Instead of pressing the ABS
button, you have the option
of switching the ignition off
and then on again.
If you switch the ignition
off then on again and
the ABS light comes back on,
there is a fault in the ABS.

Suspension settings

Spring preload and
weight
It is essential to set spring
preload of the rear suspen-
sion to suit the load carried
by the motorcycle. Increase
spring preload when the mo-
torcycle is heavily loaded and
reduce spring preload ac-
cordingly when the motor-
cycle is lightly loaded.
Spring preload and road-
surface condition with
sport suspension
The spring preload of the
front suspension can be
adjusted to the rider's weight
to suit the terrain and the
intended use.
Shock-absorber settings
and spring preload
Damping must be adapted
to suit spring preload. An in-
crease in spring preload re-
quires firmer damping, a re-
duction in spring preload re-
quires softer damping.

not match the spring-preload
