6.3.2 Side panels

CAUTION
Pinching at the side panels
Risk of pinching and crushing of the hands
► Pay attention not to pinch parts of your body between the side or frame parts.

6.3.2.1 Adjusting the Arm Rest Height

Standard arm rest
The height of the arm rest can only be adjusted in various positions with a screwdriver.
1) Push in the latch using a screwdriver (see fig. 39).
2) Reposition the arm rest.
INFORMATION: Do not move the arm rest up past the topmost latch position.
3) Allow the latch to engage.
4) Verify that the arm rest/locking mechanism is firmly engaged.
Height-adjustable arm rest
The height of the arm rest can be adjusted to various positions without the use of tools.
1) Pull up the release lever in the round opening in the side panel from the inside (see fig. 40).
2) Move the arm rest to the desired position.
3) Let go of the release lever. The arm rest locks into place automatically.
4) Verify that the arm rest/locking mechanism is firmly engaged.
INFORMATION: If required, push the arm rest up or down slightly until it locks into place audibly.
INFORMATION
For easier boarding, the arm rest can also be removed entirely.
