1 On/Off button freezer
compartment
Is used to switch the freezer compart
ment on and off.
2 Fast freezing button
Switches super freezing on and
off. When the yellow lamp is lit, this
indicates that fast cooling has started.
Fast freezing is used to freeze large
quantities of fresh food and, depen
ding on the quantity, must be switched
on up to 24 hours before the food is
placed in the freezer compartment.
3 Alarm button
Used to switch off the warning signal.
The warning signal switches on if the
freezer compartment is too warm, i.e.
the frozen food is at risk of thawing.
The warning signal may switch on
without any risk to the frozen food
S when the appliance is switched on
S when large quantities of fresh food
are placed in the appliance
After the warning sound has switched
itself off, the accoustic warning will
automatically reset itself once the
freezer area has reached its operating
temperature.

4 Alarm display
A warning signal sounds at the same
time.
a) Display comes on
To stop the warning signal, press the
Alarm button. The display goes out
when the freezer compartment has
reached its operating temperature.
b) Display flashes
The frozen food is at risk of thawing;
the freezer compartment is or was
too warm.
To stop the flashing display and the
warning signal, press the Alarm but
ton 4. The display is reset to standby.
Check odour and appearance of
frozen food to determine whether
it is still edible.
5 Temperature display lamp freezer
compartment
The numbers next to the temperature
display lights correspond to freezer
compartment temperatures in °C.
The lit lamp indicates the selected
temperature.
The light flashes until the selected
temperature is reached.
