Inspect:

Replace.
Inspection steps:
Suspend
the thermostatic valve
in
a vessel.
Place
a
reliable
thermometer
in
water.
Slowly heat
(he water,
Observe
the
thermometer,
while continually
stirring
the
water
.

NOTE:

The
thermostatic vaive
is
sealed
and
its
setting
requires specialized
work.
If
its
accuracy
is in
doubt, replace
it.
A
faulty unit
could
cause
serious
overheating
or
over-coo!ing.
2.
Inspect:
O-ring
Wear/Damage

Replace.
