12 USING MIDI CONTROL CENTER

The built-in MIDI Control Center manual has general descriptions of the features that are
common to all Arturia products. To learn how to access the manual, see
This chapter will cover only the MIDI Control Center features that are unique to the
BeatStep Pro.
12.1

Device Projects

12.1.1 The Working Memory

The currently active project on the BeatStep Pro is known as the Working Memory. It
includes all of the patterns from the sequencers, the Control Mode settings, and the
Project-level settings for Swing %, etc.
Each of these features is given its own Tab in the middle of the MIDI Control Center
application. We'll cover the Tabs in

12.1.2 Project list

The left side of the MIDI Control Center window shows a list containing the Working
Memory and Projects 1-16. When one of the Projects is selected from the list the MIDI
Control Center can recall that Project from the internal memory of the BeatStep Pro and
place it into the Working Memory. See

To see a larger number of the Projects in the Device Projects list, click and drag the
window resizing button:
