The appliance must be isolated from the gas supply
piping system by closing its individual manual
shuto valve during any pressure testi g of the gas
supply piping system at test pressures equal to or
less than 1/2 psi (3.5 kPa) (13.84 in W.C.).
You must follow the installa on instruc ons and
those in Care and Maintenance for adequate
combusti n air intake and exhaust.
INFORMATION
If the water heater is installed in a closed water
supply system, such as one having a back ow
preventer in the cold water supply line, means
shall be provided to control thermal expansion.
Contact the water supplier or local plumbing
inspector on how to control thermal expansion.
Should overhea ng occur or the gas supply fail to
shut off, turn o the manual gas control valve to
the appliance.
Keep the air intake locati n free of chemicals, such
as chlorine or bleach, that produce fumes. These
fumes can damage components and reduce the life
of the appliance.
NOTE
The MC-195T temperature controller is
contained within the Styrofoam packing of the
tankless water heater, be sure not to discard it.
This controller is necessary for opera on with this
tankless unit.
