Accelerator Pedal
Use the accelerator pedal
of the machine. Pressing down the pedal increases ground
speed. Releasing the pedal will slow the machine.
Note: The maximum forward speed is 26 km/h (16 mph).
Brake Pedal
Use the brake pedal to stop or slow the machine
CAUTION
Operating a machine with worn or incorrectly
adjusted brakes can may result in personal injury.
If brake pedal travels to within 25 mm (1 inch) of
the vehicle floor board, the brakes must be adjusted
or repaired.
Parking-Brake Lever
The parking-brake lever is located between the seats
4 and Figure 5). Whenever the engine is shut off, set the
parking brake to prevent the machine from accidental moving.
To set the parking brake, pull up on the parking-brake lever.
To release the parking brake, push the lever down. If the
machine is parked on a steep grade, make sure that the
parking brake is set.
