Switch 4210 V3.01.09 Release Notes
(1) After reset, the device will check whether the user configuration file exists or not. If yes, initialize
the device with the user configuration file.
(2) If there is no user configuration file, get the configuration file from server by DHCP auto
configuration. After get file successfully, initialize the device with the configuration file.
(3) If failed to get configuration file from server through DHCP auto configuration, check whether there
is factory default configuration file or not. If yes, initialize the device with the factory default
configuration.
(4) If there is no factory default configuration, initialize the device with the default configuration.
After Modification:
Reboot device when insert console loopback connector into switch console port.
(1) After reset the device for 15 seconds, the device will check whether the console loopback
connector exists or not. If yes, the LED of Ethernet ports will flash for 3 times.
(2) And then the device skipped the user configuration file and DHCP auto configuration.
(3) If there is factory default configuration file in the device, initialize the device with the factory default
configuration.
(4) If there is no factory default configuration, initialize the device with the default configuration.
The process of initializing device will not change if there is no console loopback connector inserting to
the device console port.

Modification about dot1x timer tx-period command
Before Modification:
The range of 802.1x multicast request packet transfer period set by dot1x timer tx-period command
is 10-120 seconds. Based on the rule that port will enter guest VLAN when 1 such packet get no
response, the shortest time for entering guest VLAN is about 10 seconds.
After Modification:
The range of 802.1x multicast request packet transfer period set by dot1x timer tx-period command
is 1-120 seconds. Based on the rule that port will enter guest VLAN when 1 such packet get no
response, the shortest time for entering guest VLAN is about 1 seconds.
3)
Modification of the processing of the 802.1x user's IP changing
Before Modification:
(1) After user log in, change user IP manually, the device will force the user to log off.
