Printer care functions
Press
on the operator panel to access the parameter menu. Continue pressing
PRINTER CARE shows on the LCD. Press
operations.
INK LEVEL
Press
on the operator panel to display on the LCD the percentage remainder of ink in the
print heads.
Press
to exit from the menu.
ALIGN PRINT HEADS
This function should be run whenever you insert, remove or replace a print head (see
Installation and Replacing the print heads ).
Press
on the operator panel when this function is displayed on the LCD to start.
Once the alignment function is completed, the machine will exit automatically from the menu.
CLEAN PRINT HEADS
Press
on the operator panel when this function is displayed on the LCD to run a print head
cleaning cycle. The LCD displays CLEANING... during the operation.
Once the clean function is completed, the machine will exit automatically from the menu.
PRINT TEST PAGE
Press
on the operator panel when this function is displayed on the LCD to print a test
page. The LCD displays PRINTING TEST PAGE during the operation. The print test page
contains technical information on the printer emulation and firmware version and the black
and colour print head tests.
Once this page is printed, the machine will exit automatically from the menu.
PRINT DEMO PAGE
Press
on the operator panel when this function is displayed on the LCD to print a demo
page. The LCD displays PRINTING DEMO PAGE during the operation.
Once this page is printed, the machine will exit automatically from the menu.
PRINT DEFAULT PAGE
Press
on the operator panel when this function is displayed on the LCD to print a page
that lists the current default values. The LCD displays PRINTING DEFAULT PAGE during
the operation.

AUTO CLEAR TIME :
SLEEP MODE :
POWER SAVE MODE :
DRY DELAY TIME :
Once this page is printed, the machine will exit automatically from the menu.
COUNTERS
When this function shows on the LCD, the number of pages printed is also displayed.
Pressing
you can then display in sequence the consumption (in ink droplets) of the print
heads (black (B/W), cyan, magenta and yellow).
