3.6 Notes on power cabling
Due to the high power requirements of the BX600 S3 blade server, you must be
careful when arranging the power cabling. Be sure to take into account local
conditions such as mains voltage and UPS solution.
The BX600 S3 basic unit can be fitted with up to four 2100 W power supply
units.

The power supply units PSU1 and PSU2 are provided in the basic configuration
and satisfy the power requirements of a fully populated basic unit in the majority
of cases. To provide a redundant power supply, a third or fourth power supply
unit can be installed (PSU3 and PSU4).
The configuration examples below illustrate different power cabling options for
a BX600 S3 basic unit fitted with four power supply units.
