Transporting the basic unit

3.4 Transporting the basic unit

CAUTION!
Transport the PRIMERGY BX600 S3 basic unit only in its original
packaging or in packaging which protects it from knocks and jolts.
Unpack the basic unit only at the place where you want to set it up.
Ask someone for help with carrying the basic unit.
Before lifting the basic unit, remove all server blades, all power supply
units and the fan units to reduce the weight.
Use the handles on the front of the basic unit and the fold-out handles
on the long sides of the basic unit to lift or carry it.
Never lift or carry the basic unit by the handles on the back.
3.5 Notes on mounting the basic unit in the
rack

CAUTION!
Because the basic unit is heavy, at least two people are needed
to safely mount it in the rack.
Before lifting the basic unit, remove all server blades, all power supply
units and the fan units to reduce the weight.
Use the handles on the front of the basic unit and the fold-out handles
on the long sides of the basic unit to lift or carry it.
Never lift or carry the basic unit by the handles on the back of the
basic unit.
For safety reasons, no more than one unit must be pulled out of the
rack at a time.
Ensure that the anti-tilt plate is correctly mounted when you set up the
rack.
The rack may tip over if more than one unit is removed at the same
time.
