CRANKCASE BREATHER
Refer to the Safety Precautions on page 93.
1. Raise the fuel tank (page 105).
2. Remove the crankcase breather tube
(1) and drain deposits into a suitable
container.
3. Place a drain pan under the air cleaner
housing drain tube plug (2).
Remove the plug to drain the deposits
in the tube.
4. Reinstall the crankcase breather tube
and the air cleaner housing drain tube
plug.
Service more frequently when riding in
rain, at full throttle, or after the motorcycle
is washed or overturned. Service if the
deposit level can be seen in the
transparent section of the drain tube and
plug.
