Installation Procedure

CAUTION
Observe normal ESD (ElectroStatic Discharge) procedures to avoid possible
damage to system components.
To install the optional PV-A-300-10G-UG I/O module:
1 Remove the front bezel.
a Unlock the bezel if it is locked.
b Remove the left end of front bezel from rack handle (see letter "A" in
Figure 1: Removing the Front Bezel from the PV-A-300
c Rotate the front bezel counterclockwise to release the latches on the right end from
the rack handle (see letter "B").
2 Remove the system cover.
NOTE
A non-skid surface or a stop behind the appliance may be needed to prevent
the appliance from sliding on your work surface.
a Turn off all peripheral devices connected to the appliance.
b Turn off the appliance.
c Disconnect the power cord.
