Hardware Installation • Do not install this equipment or work with its power circuits during thunderstorms or other weather conditions that could cause a power surge. • Verify there is adequate ventilation around the device, and ambient temperatures meet equipment operation specifications.
Hardware Installation Mechanical Loading Mounting the NX-5500 in a rack should be such that a hazardous condition is not achieved due to uneven mechanical loading. Circuit Overloading When connecting the NX-5500 to the supply circuit, ensure protection is provided to the NX-5500 and supply wiring to avoid circuit overloads.
