5. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

ATTENTION!
The pellet furnace must be completely cold and the
power supply disconnected prior to cleaning of all
parts.
The pellet furnace requires only limited maintenance, if
used with the recommended pellets of good quality. The
need for maintenance increases upon change of use and
output.
5.1.
DAILY AND WEEKLY CLEANING (BY OPERATOR)
5.1.1. Prior to every lighting
Clean the brazier "A" and possible residues, which may clog the ventila-
tion holes, with the required tool.
If the container runs out of pellets, unburnt pellets may accumulate in the
brazier. Make sure to remove pellet residues prior to lighting.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE BRAZIER MUST BE
PLACED AND CLEANED CORRECTLY, IN ORDER TO
ENSURE OPTIMAL LIGHTING AND OPERATION OF
THE PELLET FURNACE.
In order to clean the brazier correctly, remove it completely and care-
fully clean all holes and the grill on the bottom. If you use pellets of good
quality, you will normally just have to use a brush to restore the parts for
optimal operation; in case of tenacious residues, use the steel tool, sup-
plied with the pellet furnace.
5.1.2. Control efter 2nd -3rd day
Clean and empty the ashpan, and be careful when handling hot ashes.
If the ashes are completely cold and only in this case, you can
remove the ashes with a vacuum cleaner. Please use a vacuum cleaner,
suitable for large particles of the type "that vacuums everything".
The frequency of cleaning depends on the experience of the user and the
pellet quality.
However, it should be done every 2nd – 3rd day.
Place the ashpan under the brazier and check that it is placed correctly.
5.1.3. Window cleaning
Use a dry brush for the window, and the special cleansing spray in case of
tenacious dirt; spray on a bit and wipe with a cloth.
NOTE!
Avoid using abrasive agents and spraying on the
cleanser on painted parts, as well as the door gas-
ket (made of ceramic fibre).
