1. WARNINGS AND WARRANTY TERMS

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Installation, electrical connection, operation
control and maintenance may only be performed
by special trained, authorised technicians.
• The pellet furnace must be installed in accord-
ance with the applying law of the city, region or
state in question.
• Please comply with the instructions of this manual, in
order to ensure correct use of the pellet furnace and
the connected electronic appliances, and in order to
prevent accidents.
• The pellet furnace must only be operated, adjusted
and programmed by adults. Faults or wrong settings
may result in danger and/or operational disturbances.
• Prior to any action, please ensure that the operator
or any other person working on the pellet furnace
has read and fully understood all instructions in this
manual.
• The pellet furnace may only be used for the appropri-
ate purpose. Any other use is regarded to be inap-
propriate and dangerous.
• Do not use the pellet furnace as ladder or support
surface.
• Do not leave clothes to dry on the pellet furnace. Dry-
ing racks and similar must be placed with appropriate
distance to the pellet furnace due to danger of fire.
• The customer is responsible for any wrong use of
the product and Jydepejsen may in no way be held
responsible according to the civil or criminal law.
• In case of manipulation or unauthorised replacement
with unoriginal spare parts on the pellet furnace, the
safety of the operator may be compromised and Jyde-
pejsen may in no way be held responsible according
to the civil or criminal law.
• Most of the surfaces of the pellet furnace are very hot
during operation (doors, handles, glass etc.). Avoid
contact with these parts without appropriate protec-
tion, such as thermic protection gloves or activation
devices of the type "cold hand".
• Please inform older persons, disabled persons and
especially children about this danger, and make sure
that they reside in safe distance to the pellet furnace
during operation.
• It is forbidden to start the pellet furnace, if the
door is open or the window is broken.
• Do not touch the pellet furnace with wet hands, since
it is an electric appliance. Disconnect the power sup-
ply prior to actions.
