3. Mount the kick stand to each side of the frame with
a bolt, lock washer, spacer, flat washer and locknut
(Figure 6).
4. Position the spacer in the kick stand mounting hole.

Installing the Transport Wheel
Shafts
Parts needed for this procedure:

Procedure
1. Push the kick stand down with your foot and pull up
on the handle to support the mower on the kick stand.
2. Apply thread-locking adhesive to the threads of the
wheel shafts.
3. Thread the right wheel shaft into the drive pulley on
the right side of the machine (Figure 7).
Note: The right wheel shaft has left hand threads.

4. Torque the shaft to 688 to 101 N-m (5 to 75 ft-lb).
5. Repeat on the left side.

Procedure
1. Slide the wheel onto the axle (Figure 8).
2. Pivot the wheel locking clip away from center of the
wheel allowing it to slide farther onto the axle (Figure
8).
