1. Recycling mode

Bagging the Clippings

Use the grass bag when you want to collect grass and leaf
clippings from the lawn.
WARNING
A worn grass bag could allow small stones and other
similar debris to be thrown toward the operator or
a bystander and result in serious personal injury or
death.
Check the grass bag frequently. If it is damaged,
install a new Toro replacement bag.
WARNING
The blade is sharp; contacting the blade can result
in serious personal injury.
Stop the engine and wait for all moving parts to stop
before leaving the operating position.
To bag the grass clippings, install the grass bag; refer
to Installing the Grass Bag (page 11) and move the
Recycling/bagging lever to the bagging mode (Figure 24).

Installing the Grass Bag

Raise and hold up the rear door (Figure 25), install the bag
(Figure 26), and lower the rear door .

Removing the Grass Bag
To remove the bag, reverse the steps above.
Rear-discharging the
Clippings
Use the rear discharge for cutting very tall grass.
If the bag is on the machine, remove it; refer to
Removing the Grass Bag (page 11) before rear-discharging
the clippings. The Recycling/bagging lever should be in the
bagging mode (Figure 24).

Stop the engine and wait for all moving parts to stop
