PIP (Picture-in-Picture; VP-M53/M54 only)
The PIP (Picture-in-Picture) feature works in combination with the
DIGITAL ZOOM function by using a small, super imposed screen to
show an image that is wider than the image being shot. This should
help you to get a more clear idea of what you are shooting.

The PIP function works in CAMERAmode only.
1. Set power switch to CAMERA mode and
LOCK/STANDBY switch to STANDBY mode.
2. Turn on DIGITALZOOM. (see page 29)
3. Press the PIP button. A small screen should
appear.
4. Check which part you are shooting on
the PIP screen, and turn the Zoom button to
"T" position to activate DIGITAL ZOOM mode.
5. Press the PIP button again.
The small screen should disappear.
Note:
When you use PIP function, the PIP screen will be recording
in recording.

Bild-im-Bild-Funktion PIP (nur bei VP-M53/54)
Verwenden Sie die PIP–Funktion (Picture-in-Picture: Bild-im-Bild),
wenn Sie Aufnahmen mit digitalem Zoom erstellen. Mit der PIP-
Funktion wird ein zusätzliches kleines Bild auf dem Suchermonitor
eingeblendet, das einen größeren Bildbereich wiedergibt als das

Hinweis:
Wenn das PIP-Bild auf dem Suchermonitor eingeblendet ist,
wird es auch mit aufgezeichnet.
PIP-Funktion steht nur im CAMERA-Modus (Aufnahme/
Aufnahme-Bereitschaft) zur Verfügung.
1. Stellen Sie den
Schalter für den Betriebs-
modus
auf CAMERAund den
LOCK/STANDBY-Schalter auf STANDBY.
2.
Schalten Sie den digitalen Zoom ein
(siehe Seite 29).
3. Drücken Sie
die Taste PIP. Auf dem Sucher-
monitor erscheint ein zusätzliches kleines
Bild.
4.
Schieben Sie den Zoom-Einsteller in Rich-
tung T, um in den digitalen Zoombereich zu
zoomen. Anhand des PIP-Bilds können Sie
auch bei starker Vergrößerung erkennen,
was Sie aufnehmen.
5. Drücken Sie erneut
PIP-Bild wieder
auszublenden.
