PIP (Picture-In-Picture, SCL750/L770 only)
The PIP(Picture-In-Picture) feature works in combination with
the DIGITAL ZOOM function by using a small, superimposed
screen to show an image that is wider than the image being
recorded. This should help you to get a more clear idea of what
you are recording.
- The PIP function works in CAMERA mode only.
1. Set the power switch to CAMERA mode
and LOCK/STANDBY switch to
STANDBY mode.
2. Turn on DIGITAL ZOOM. (see page 31)

3. Press the MENU ON/OFF button,

the MENU List will be displayed.
LCD ADJUST
DIS........................OFF
D.ZOOM................OFF
4. Turn the UP/DOWN dial until
PIP........................OFF
DISPLAY ..............ON
PIP..........OFF is highlighted.
WHITE BAL ..........AUTO
WL REMOCON ....ON
EXIT: MENU
5. Press ENTER, the PIP ON and a
small screen should appear.
6. Check which part you are recording
MENU
on the PIP screen, and turn the Zoom
LCD ADJUST
button to "T" position to activate the
DIS........................OFF
DIGITAL ZOOM mode. D.ZOOM................OFF
PIP........................ON
Start recording by pressing the
DISPLAY ..............ON
WHITE BAL ..........AUTO
START/STOP button when the
WL REMOCON ....ON
portion you want to record appears.
EXIT: MENU
7. Setting PIP......ON to OFF in the MENU will make the small
screen disappear and switch the PIP mode off.
Note: When you use PIP function while making a recording,
the PIP screen will be recorded on the Tape.
The MENU ON/OFF function will not operate in
EASY or REC mode.
PIP function will not operate in DSE mode.

La fonction PIP (Image sur Image) fonctionne avec la fonction
ZOOM NUMÉRIQUE en incrustant un petit écran qui montre
une image plus large que l'image filmée. Ceci doit vous
permettre d'avoir une meilleure idée de ce que vous êtes en
train de filmer.
- La fonction PIP est disponible uniquement en mode
Caméscope.
1. Placez le commutateur principal sur
la position CAMERA et le bouton
LOCK/STANDBY sur le mode veille
(STANDBY).
2. Activez la fonction Zoom numérique.
(Voir page 31.)
3. Appuyez sur la touche MENU
ON/OFF.
La liste des menus s'affiche.
4. Sélectionnez l'option PIP.....OFF à
l'aide du bouton UP/DOWN.
5. Appuyez sur la touche ENTER.
La fonction PIP est activée (ON) et
un petit écran apparaît.
ENTER
6. Contrôlez quelle partie vous filmez
sur l'écran PIP et tournez le bouton
Zoom sur la position "T" pour activer
le mode Zoom numérique.
Appuyez sur la touche
START/STOP pour commencer à
filmer lorsque la partie souhaitée
apparaît dans l'écran PIP.
7. Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche ENTER pour désactiver la
fonction PIP (OFF) et faire disparaître l'écran PIP.
Remarque: l'écran PIP est enregistré sur la bande s'il est
affiché pendant le tournage.
La fonction MENU ON/OFF n'est pas disponible
en mode EASY ou REC.
La fonction PIP nést pas disponible en mode
DSE.
