MF/AF (Manual Focus/Auto Focus)

The MF/AF function works in CAMERAmode only.
In most situations, it is better to use the Automatic Focus feature, as
it enables you to concentrate on the creative side of your shooting.
Manual focusing may be necessary under certain conditions that
make automatic focusing inadequate.
Auto Focusing
The AF (Auto Focus) mode is set automatically when you
switch on the Power switch.
If you are inexperienced with camcorders, we recommend that
you use the Auto Focus mode.
Manual Focusing
In the following cases you should obtain better results by
adjusting the focus manually.
a. A picture containing several objects, some close to
the camcorder, others further away.
b. A person enveloped in fog or surrounded by snow.
c. Very shiny or glossy surfaces like a car.
d. People or objects moving constantly or quickly like
an athlete or crowd.
1. Set power switch to CAMERA mode and
LOCK/STANDBY switch to STANDBY mode.
2. Press MF button.
3. Zoom in the subject to be shot by pushing ZOOM
tab to the "T" side.

Fokus automatisch oder manuell
Die automatische oder manuelle Fokuseinstellung (MF/AF) ist nur
im CAMERA-Modus (Aufnahme/Aufnahme-Bereitschaft)
Verwenden Sie vorzugsweise die automatische Fokuseinstellung,
da Sie sich dann besser auf die kreative Seite Ihrer Aufnahme
konzentrieren können.
Bei bestimmten Bedingungen ist die automatische Fokuseinstellung
ungeeignet. In solchen Fällen müssen Sie den Fokus manuell ein-
stellen.
Automatische Fokuseinstellung
Der Camcorder ist standardmäßig auf die automatische
Fokuseinstellung (AF) voreingestellt.
Wenn Sie noch wenig Übung im Umgang mit dem Camcorder
haben, empfehlen wir die Verwendung der automatischen
Fokuseinstellung.
Manuelle Fokuseinstellung
In den folgenden Situationen erzielen Sie mit der manuellen
Fokuseinstellung bessere Ergebnisse:

einstellen
a. Ein Bild mit mehreren Objekten in unter-
schiedlicher Entfernung zum Camcorder.
b. Eine Person im Nebel oder im Schnee.
c. Sehr helle oder glänzende Oberflächen (z. B.
Autolack).
d. Personen oder Objekte in ständiger schneller
Bewegung (z. B. Sportler, Menschenmenge).
1. Stellen Sie den Schalter für den Betriebsmodus
auf CAMERAund den LOCK/STANDBY-Schalter
auf STANDBY.
2. Drücken Sie die Taste MF/AF.
3. Zoomen Sie in den Nahaufnahmen-Bereich
(Zoom-Einsteller in Richtung T schieben).
