Stitch Type
It is possible to stitch the model as both a surface or a volume.
If you choose to stitch your scans as a surface the option for stitch trimming will be
available.
Lowering this value will mean more of the model is trimmed away whilst increasing it will
mean a decrease to the amount of cutting away occurs on the model.
Volumization on
Trim value 1
As you may see, with a higher value some anomalous floating data has appeared above the
scan. The amount of trimming will depend on what type of model you are stitching.
Saving the Stitch
Trim value 3
The final operation is to export the stitched data. This can be
saved as .STL, .PLY or .OBJ data. Choosing the floppy disk icon
will save the stitch and the red x icon will abort the stitch.
