Ordering
To successfully stitch items together you need to work in an ordered manner working
around the object or person. We recommend starting with two items. Stitch them, add
another item to the stitch set, stitch this and continue.
Creating a Registration and Stitching item
To create a registration and stitching (R&S) item you need at least two scans selected.
Choose and load the first scan into the viewer and then select a scan you wish to join to it
by holding down Ctrl and clicking it. Both will highlight, then either drag the selected items
into the graphics window or click the R&S icon (illustrated below).
You will then be prompted to name the stitching item.
The scan pool will now appear on the right of the
interface. At this time the items are not joined.
You can add additional items by dragging them into the
Registration and Stitching
graphics area.
You will see the stitched item in the scan manger highlighted with a zipper symbol.
