1. Fuel Filter head
2. Remove the filter and clean the filter head mounting
surface (Figure 53).
3. Lubricate the filter gasket with clean lubricating engine
oil. Refer to the Engine Operator's Manual, included
with the machine, for additional information.
4. Install the dry filter canister, by hand, until the gasket
contacts the filter head, then rotate it an additional
1/2 turn.
5. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks around the
filter head.
Fuel Pick up Tube Screen
The fuel pick up tube, located inside the fuel tank, is equipped
with a screen to help prevent debris from entering the fuel
system. Remove fuel pick up tube and clean screen as
required.
