pressure does not change.

15. Drive the sprayer at the desired speed while
spraying and turn each boom off individually.

The pump is located near the front of the tank on
the right side (Figure 31).

Adjusting the Air Pressure in
Dampener
The air pressure in the dampener on the pump is
set at 15 psi (1 bar) by the manufacturer. This is

recommended for nozzle spray pressures between
20 psi (1.3 bar) and 45 psi (3 bar). If different
nozzle pressures are required, set pressure
dampener at pressures indicated.

Transporting the Sprayer

For moving the sprayer long distances, use a
trailer. Secure the sprayer to the trailer. Figure 32
illustrates the front tie-down points.

The rear tie-down points are two steel loops under
the back of the frame just in front of the adjustable
boom frame.

Towing the Sprayer

In case of an emergency, the sprayer can be
towed for a short distance. However, we do not
recommend this as a standard procedure.
Towing at excessive speeds could cause a
loss of steering control, resulting in personal
injury.
Never tow the sprayer faster than 5 mph
(8 kph).
Towing the sprayer is a two person job. If
the machine must be moved a considerable
distance, transport it on a truck or trailer; refer to
Transporting the Sprayer.
