This universal remote control can control up to 8 different Audio/Video devices and is compa-
tible with the majority of television sets, DVD players and video recorders, as well as digital
boxes such as satellite or cable receivers, DVBT receivers (Digital Video Broadcast Terrestrial),
ADSL decoders, and so on.
Except for the TV mode key, the DVD, VCR, SAT, CD, AMP, AUX1 and AUX2 mode keys can be
programmed to control a device other than that indicated on the key. It is therefore possible,
for example, to allocate SAT mode to the DVD key. You must enter the code corresponding to
the manufacturer and the device by using one of the methods indicated in this manual.
Before using the remote control, please read these operating instructions carefully. Please keep the instruction
manual for consultation purposes or for possibly handing it over to third parties.
Do not try to repair the remote control yourself.
The universal remote control is equipped with a class 1 infrared diode.
Do not look at the laser using optical instruments!
Do not expose your remote control to dust, intense sunlight, humidity, high temperatures or mechanical shocks.
Old and new batteries must never be combined.
Clean your remote control with a dry clothe only, do not use any corrosive or aggressive cleaning agents.
Do not mix different types of batteries or new and old batteries.
Do not use rechargeable batteries.
In order to avoid any risk of explosion, observe polarities indicated inside the battery compartment.
Replace only with the type of batteries specified.
Do not throw batteries into a fire, do not recharge them.
If you are not using the remote control for a long period of time, remove the batteries.
Please respect the environment and prevailing regulations. Before you dispose of batteries, ask your dealer whether
they are subject to special recycling and if they will accept them for disposal.

The display is always on when batteries are installed, normally displaying
the active Mode of the remote e.g. DVD, the day of week e.g. Mon, and time
of day e.g. 23:58, in 24 hour format.
Pressing a Mode key changes remote operation to that Mode and displays
the active Mode and its code e.g. DVD and the programmed 4-digit code
e.g. 0768. Display returns to Normal display on Mode key release.
Pressing and releasing the Setup key displays the active Mode of the remote
e.g. DVD, the Date e.g. 9:10 (Day: Month) and indicates "Shift" operation
with "(S)". Press and release Exit to return to normal display.
