Checking the chain, rear sprocket, engine sprocket, and chain guide

Preparatory work
Raise the motorcycle with the lift stand. (
Main work
Shift gear to neutral.
Check the rear sprocket and engine sprocket for wear.

If the rear sprocket or engine sprocket are worn:
Change the power set.

Chains do not always wear evenly, which is why the measurement should be
repeated at several locations on the chain.

Change the chain sliding guard.
