Pattern Buttons
Six Pattern Buttons, numbered 1 through 6, are as-
sociated with "ceffee cup" marks denoting the
function
of each Button, and with lamp to indicate the state of
the Buttons.
BUTTON 1
(Colour Normal/Inverse)
Colour Normal
:
Yarn in Yarn Feeder
(D
knits the ground
colour.
Yarn in Yarn Feeder0knits the contrast colour.
Colour Inverse:
Colour of ground and contrast yarns are
exchanged
.
BUTTON 2
(Direction Normal/Reverse)
Direction Normal
:
The pattern is reproduced on the
knit side
of the
fabric
in
the
same
direction as on the Card
.
Direction Reverse
:
The Pattern
is reproduced on the purl side of the
fabric in the same direction as on the card.
BUTTON 3
(Vertical Expansion)
Expands the pattern on the Card twice
its
normal
size vertically.
BUTTON 4
(Horizontal Expansion)
Expands the pattern on the Card twice its
normal
si ze
horizontallY..
BUTTON 5
(Mirror Image)
The pattern
is
reproduced on
the
fabric
as if
it
were reflected in the mirror.
BUTTON 6
This Button is
used
only
when knitting double
jacquard with
the
use
of the
Automatic
Yarn
Changer. (Refer
to
page 94.)
