Single motif and magic point knitting are also possible in
Double Jacquard.
The sample is knitted with the Pattern No.15-(45).
The sample is knitted using four yarns of different colours
over 100 needles with the use of the Button 5 (Mirror
Image) partially.
The pattern to be knitted next is ten rows bel ow the row
visible at the Card Slit.
0 n the Notation Column, mark at 41st and 61 st rows before
setting the Pattern Card into the machine.
Set the Point Cams and Needle-1 Cam as illustrated in
diagram
CD
and work ord inary Double Jacquard.
(1st row to 40th row of the Pattern Card.) - 80 rows of
knitting.
When the 41st row is read the mark on the Notation Col-
umn comes to the Card Slit, and the Carriage is at the right
side.
Push on the Pattern Button 5 (M irror Image).
Move the Point Cams as illustrated in diagram ® and knit
from 41st row to 60th row.
When the 61 st row is read, move the right Point Cam
referring to the instruction below, and memorize its posi-
tion before knitting.
Then knit from 61st row to 150th row.
When the Card has returned to the first row, lay down the
Driving Lever and continue to knit with the yarn A.

(1) Leave the Carriage at the right side.
