If the Ribber Arm does
not fit
on the
Standard Carriage properly
...
1. Check to see if the top of the Standard Carriage is down
to close.
The top of the Carriage must be down.
2.
Check
the setting of the
Cam
Lever. It should be set at
"0" before mounting the Ribber Arm, never at F (KNIT-
IN) or
L
(PUNCH LACE).
If you knit with the Knitter only as
the Ribber is connected ...
1. Disconnect Ribber Arm and Carriage from Knitter Car-
riage.
2. Lower Ribber to its fullest extent by pushing down
Drop Levers twice.
3. Install Knitter Arm and start knitting.
To
use
the Lace Carriage as the Ribber is connected, refer
to page 35, for special cares to take.
If you use 4-Colour Auto- Tension for
knitting other than double jacquard ...
The tension springs of the Four-colour
Auto-Tension
are
stronger than those on the Two-colour Auto-Tension.
If you use the Four-Colour Auto-Tension for normal knit-
tings, set the Tension
Dial
and Stitch Dial as follows.
