Clearing paper jams
Cassette 1 Open the right cover and remove

the jammed paper.
2 Push the indicated position to close
the right cover.
3 Pull out cassette 1 and remove the
jammed paper.

4 Push in cassette 1.
Cassette 2 Open the right cover and remove

the jammed paper.
Push the indicated position to close

the right cover.
3 Pull out cassette 2 and remove the
jammed paper.

4 While cassette 2 is out, pull out cas-
sette 1.
5 Open the front cover and pull lever
C1 and remove the paper feeder.

6 Open cover C2. Remove the jam-
med paper.
7 Close cover C2 and return the pa-
per feeder to its original position.
Push cassettes 1 and 2 back in and

close the front cover.
Cassette 3 and 4 Open the right cover and remove
1 1 2
the jammed paper.
2 Push the indicated position to close
the right cover.
3 Pull out the cassette in use and re-
move the jammed paper. If jammed

paper is left inside the copier, pull out
the cassette and remove the jammed
paper.
4 Push in the cassette.
Clearing paper jams
Inside the Right Open the right cover and remove

jammed paper from all areas.
Cover
2 Push the indicated position to close
the right cover.
MP Tray Remove all paper from the MP tray.

2 Reload the paper in the MP tray.
Optional Side Feeder
1 Press the top button on the side
1 2
feeder and detach the side feeder
from the copier.
2 Remove paper jammed in the con-
necting slot of the side feeder.

feeder.
Attach the side feeder to the co-

pier.
Open the top cover of the side fee-

der and remove jammed paper.

6 Close the top cover of the side fee-
der.
Paper Conveyor
1 Open the front cover.

Turn the knob A1 counter-clockwise

at least 20 times. Jammed paper is
pushed out to the output tray; remove
the paper.
Turn lever A2 counterclockwise.

Turn knob A3 counter-clockwise at

least 8 times. Jammed paper is pu-
shed to the paper conveyor.
Pull lever A2 and slowly pull out the

paper conveyor.

6 Remove paper from above the pa-
per conveyor.
7 Open cover A4 and remove jam-
med paper. Close cover A4.

9 Push A6 and close cover A5.

med paper. Close cover A7.

med paper. Close cover A8.
Restore the paper conveyor to its

original position.
Return lever A2 to its original positi-

on and close the front cover. ⑬
Duplex Unit Open the front cover.

2 Pull lever B1 and pull out the duplex
unit.
3 Remove any paper from above the
duplex unit.

4 Open the lower cover of the duplex
unit (B2) and remove the jammed pa-
per. Close cover B2.
5 Open cover B3 and remove the
jammed paper. Close cover B3.
6 Replace the duplex unit to its origi-
nal position and push it back in secu-
rely.
7 Close the front cover.

Preparations Place the originals on the platen or

in the optional document processor.
2 Enter the number of copies with
the key.

Optional settings 1 Paper source
Select the desired paper source. If the
setting APS is active, the selected cas-
sette with automatically match the ori-
ginal format. Special sizes or papers
should be used through the multi pur-
pose tray.
2 Reducing/Enlarging (Zoom)
Press button on the
REDUCE/ENLARGE
touch screen. Select the original for-
mat and the target format or choose
the zoom factor. Start the copy with
green button.

3 Sort mode
Press the tab . Select
FUNCTION SORT/
. Press . As a result sets
OFFSET SORT ON
of originals will be produced. Start the
copy with green button.

4 Duplex copy
Press tab . Select .
