8 - personalise your phone
take a photograph
With your Nokia 6100 you can send and
receive photo messages, and if you
purchase the compatible camera accessory
you will also be able to take and send your
own personal photos.
To take a photograph:

Attach the camera lead into the
TM
Pop-Port
at the base of your phone.

Open the camera attachment by sliding
each end gently apart. Hold the camera
so that the large silver button is at the
top on the right

On the bottom of the camera is a key
marked H and L. Set this to H to take
high resolution photographs, and L to
take low resolution photographs.

Look through the viewfinder to frame
your photograph.

The continuous green light will show
when your camera is ready to take a
photograph.

Press and hold the large silver button
until the green light shows again to take
your photograph.

You will see File received on your
phone's screen.

Press Show to view your photograph,
or Exit, then No to view it later.
To save your photograph:

When you receive the file containing the
photograph press Show.

Press Options then Save.

Give your photograph a name and press
OK.

Select where you would like to store
your photograph from the list of folders
in your gallery and press Select.

Your photograph is now saved to your
phone and can be sent as a Multi Media
message, set as wallpaper or assigned
to a contact.
