3 - manage your contacts using your phonebook
store the names and
numbers of your friends,
family and colleagues in
your phonebook
To open your phonebook press

This opens your phonebook in
alphabetical order
.
The quickest way to find a name is to press
the key which corresponds with the initial
letter of the name you are looking for. If you
press a key twice, quickly, you will go to
the names starting with the second letter
on the key.
You can also search for contacts by
pressing Names at the main display. Select
Search and key in the name or the first few
letters of the name you are looking for and
press Search. The menu will move to the
entries that match.
To call an entry in your phonebook scroll
to the person you would like to talk to and
press
.
To add a new entry to your phonebook:

At the main display, key in the phone
number including the full area code.
Press Options and you will see Save
highlighted. Press Select.

Key in the name. Press each key the
.
relevant number of times to get the letter
you need. For example, to get the letter
J press the 5 key once and to get the
letter S press the 7 key four times.
Press 0 for a space.

Press Clear if you need to delete a
character or press and hold Clear to
delete the entire name.

Press OK when you have finished.
The number will be saved to your phone
memory.
To add additional numbers to a name:

At the main display, press

scroll to the name you need to add
additional numbers to.

Press Details, then Options and then
scroll to and select Add number.

Select a type for the number.
Choose from:
General

Mobile

Home
I
Office
I
Fax

Enter the new number and press OK.

You will see Saved to phone memory in
the display.
You can add additional information to a
contact stored in your phone's memory. To
add additional information to a contact:

At the main display, press
select a name to add to.

Press Details and then Options and
select Add detail. Choose from:
E-mail address
I
and
Web address
I
Postal address
I
Note

Enter the information and press OK.

You will see Saved to phone memory in
the display.
Note: You can only add additional numbers
and information to contacts stored in the
phone's memory.
You can also edit the contacts in your
phonebook.
To edit an item:

Press

to enter your
phonebook.

Scroll to the name of the person whose
details you wish to edit and press Details.

Scroll to the name, number or other item
you want to edit and press Options.
Select Edit name/number/detail. Press

OK when you have finished editing the
item to save your changes.

to return to the main display.
