You can cancel this operation at this step by
pressing the Menu Select button directly below
Cncl to return to Search Options screen.
The display shows Searching.... Once found,
the display shows Channel updated.
If the radio is triggered to search for an empty
entry, the display shows Invalid entry.
If the entry does not match, the display shows
Channel name not found. Repeat from step
5
to search again.

to return to the Home screen.
Deleting a Channel in the Dynamic Zone
The radio must be in Dynamic Zone in order to
perform this operation.

The display shows the dynamic channels list.

The Home screen shows <Dynamic Zone
Channels>.
If the channel deleted is the Home channel, the
Home screen shows <Zone Name>+"Blank".

Contacts

This feature provides "address-book" capabilities on
your radio. Each entry corresponds to an alias (name)
or ID (number) that you use to initiate a call.
Contact entries are alphabetically sorted according to
entry alias. Each alias can have up to five IDs of
different call types associated with it.
Additionally, each entry, depending on context
(conventional, trunking, or phone), associates with
one or more of the four types of calls: Phone Call,
Selective Call, Private Call, or Call Alert.
Each entry within Contacts contains the following
information:
Call Alias (Name)
