8. Eléments de raccordement et de commande
Fonction BPM manuelle:
Maintenez la touche BPM enfoncée pendant 3
secondes et l´appareil passe à la fonction
manuelle. Le texte « BEAT» apparaît sur l'affi-
cheur. Appuyez la touche BPM dans cette fonc-
tion à chaque battement et l´appareil définit la
valeur correspondante „Beats Per Minute".
Maintenir à nouveau la touche enfoncée pen-
dant 3 secondes pour quitter la fonction
manuelle BPM. Puis actionner de nouveau
courtement la touche pour quitter complète-
ment la fonction BPM.
(34) Prise de connextion système de l´unité
de commande 1
Les données sont transmises entre l'unité de
commande et l'unité lecteur par le biais de cet-
te prise femelle. Reliez la prise femelle „REMO-
TE CONTROL 1" à la prise de connexion systè-
me (41) de l´unité lecteur.

de commande 2
Les données sont transmises entre l'unité de
commande et l'unité lecteur par le biais de cet-
te prise femelle. Reliez la prise femelle „REMO-
TE CONTROL 2" à la prise de connexion systè-
me (46) de l´unité lecteur.
Unité lecteur :
(36) Interrupteur de marche-arrêt
« POWER »
Cet interrupteur permet la mise en marche
ou l'arrêt du lecteur de CD. L'appareil se met
en marche lorsque l'interrupteur est enfoncé
(position „ON"). La DEL rouge au-dessus de
l´interrupteur s´allume et l´affichage apparaît.
L´appareil est éteint quand l´interrupteur
n´est pas enfoncé (position „OFF).
Attention: pour couper intégrale-
ment le lecteur du réseau, retirer
la fiche de la prise de courant.

Insérez votre CD audio dans le tiroir CD res-
pectif.
(38) Touches OPEN/CLOSE
Cette touche permet d'ouvrir et de fermer le
tiroir de CD respectif.
Si le lecteur de CD est en mode
lecture, il n'est pas possible d'ou-
vrir le tiroir de CD.

Les données sont transmises entre le l'unité
lecteur et l'unité de commande par le biais de
cette prise femelle. Reliez la prise femelle de
l´unité lecteur à la prise correspondante
„REMOTE CONTROL 1" (34) de l´unité lecteur.
(42) Prises femelles LINE-OUT L/R
Sur ces prises femelles Cinch, les signaux de
sortie audio droit et gauche du lecteur de CD
sortent sous forme analogique. Raccordez ici
l'entrée audio de la table de mixage ou de l'am-
plificateur.

(43) Prise DIGITAL OUT
Sur cette prise, le signal audio du lecteur de
CD 1 est sorti sous forme numérique. Ici, il est
possible de raccorder par ex. l'entrée audio
numérique d'un amplificateur.

La prise femelle START/PAUSE permet de
démarrer ou d´arrêter la lecture du lecteur de
CD à l´aide d´une table de mixage équipée en
fonction.
11. Initial Operation
Track skip key
By pressing the button
, playback jumps to the beginning of the track just played. Pressing this
button twice brings the player back to the beginning of the track previously played. Pressing this
button on the first track of the CD, brings the playback mode to the end of the CD.
The selected track is called up in the mode that the CD player was in before this but-
ton was operated.
For example:
•
If the track skip key is pressed in pause mode, the CD player goes to the start of the selected
track and stays in pause mode.
•
If the track skip key is pressed during playback, the CD player goes to the beginning of the
selected track and starts playback.
•
If the single-track (AUTO CUE-SINGLE) is in operation, then the CD-switches to pause mode
directly after a track has been selected.
The device sets the CUE spot at the start of a track automatically after each track
selection.
e) SEARCH Run
This type of search run is ideal for the quick pin-pointing of a particular section in a track. Keep the
SEARCH key
or
(7) depressed. The appliance begins its search forwards or back-
wards. During the search run the playback can be heard.
By pressing one of the SEARCH buttons for longer, the search speed increases auto-
matically. This function allows you to work through each track in detail. This key can
be used during playback and pause modes. In pause mode, the device goes into
„stutter" mode after pressing a search button.
f) Selecting a passage in a title
The JOG wheel (20) serves to exactly locate a certain point in a track. It is very easy to precisely
set the CUE mark with the jog wheel in pause mode, because the title is searched in minute steps
(frames) and the search is audible. To search forwards, turn the JOG wheel clockwise. To search
backwards, turn the JOG wheel counter-clockwise.
In pause mode, the CD player switches to „stutter" mode as soon as a jog wheel is
operated.
g) CUEING
You can select the starting point for playback using the CUE-function. You can set the starting point
automatically or manually.
The advantage of this function is that e.g. empty slots at the start of a title are not played back and
that there are therefore no breaks after starting the playback.
Auto-CUE:
The appliance automatically makes a CUE mark when it is turned on or when pressing the track skip
key or

(8) at the point where the music should come in.
Back-CUE function:
Press the CUE key (11) during playback mode, and the CD-player will go to the beginning of the
track selected or back to the CUE mark selected and then automatically into pause mode.
