(13) Adjusting the DP center line

Perform the following adjustment if there is a regular error between the centers of the original and the copy image.

Caution:
Before making the following adjustment, ensure that the above adjustments have been made in maintenance mode.
Procedure
Start
Enter maintenance mode.
Enter "072" using the copy exposure
adjustment keys or zoom +/- keys
Press the start key.
Press the program key and the
machine enters the test copy mode.
Place an original on the DP
and make a test copy.
Is the image correct?
Yes
Press the stop/clear key
to exit maintenance mode.
End

Change the setting.
• For copy example 1, increase

the value using the zoom (+)
key.
• For copy example 2, decrease
the value using the zoom (-) key.
Setting range: –6.6 – +6.6
Initial setting: 1.5
Changing the value by 1 moves
the center line by 0.17 mm.
